Free tool
Reel hooks written from your website
Paste the link to your home page or a product page. We read it and write four ways to open your next reel, each from a different angle. It's free, and you don't need an account.
How it works
From link to hooks in three steps
- Step 1
Paste a link
Your home page or a product page works best. We open it like a visitor would and read the words on it.
- Step 2
Get four hooks
You get a line or two for each angle. We throw out any opening with a number or a name that isn't on your page.
- Step 3
Turn one into a reel
Press Make this reel and we make four short videos from the same page, in about three minutes.
The four angles
Four angles that make people stop
Each hook opens the reel a different way. Here's what each one does, with the hooks the tool wrote for fromourplace.com.
The problem
Opens on something your customer wants or is tired of. People who see their own problem in the first line tend to keep watching.
Tired of food sticking to your pan?Our nonstick pans release everything clean.
The result
Opens on what life looks like after they buy. It works well for products people already know they want.
Cook dinner in one pan.Cleanup takes almost no time.
The proof
Opens on a number or a name from your site. People believe a figure more than an adjective.
Over 100,000 five-star reviews.Home cooks keep coming back for more.
The offer
Opens on the reason to act now: a deal, free shipping, a trial or how quick it is to start. It suits ads, and the last post before a sale ends.
Try it free for 100 days.Returns are free, so you risk nothing.

What makes a reel hook work
- You get about a second
- People decide whether to keep watching almost as soon as a reel starts, so the first words on screen do most of the work.
- Be specific
- "Nonstick pans that release everything" tells people what they're looking at. "Cooking, reimagined" doesn't.
- Put the number first
- If you have a rating, a price or a count of customers, lead with it. Your site probably already has one.
- Talk to one person
- Write "you" and "your", the way you'd talk to a customer at the counter.
- Put it on screen, not just in the voice-over
- Lots of people scroll with the sound off.
- Try more than one
- Post two hooks for the same product a few days apart and keep the one people watch longer.
Want the whole video, not just the first line? Turn your link into four reels. Making and editing them is free.
Questions
Good to know
Something else? Ask us directly
Is the hook generator free?
Yes. You can write hooks for up to 10 pages an hour without an account, and the same page gives the same hooks for a day.
Where do the hooks come from?
From the text on the page you paste. We read it the way a visitor would and write four openings from it. Any opening that uses a number or a name your page doesn't have gets dropped. Still read them before you post, because a hook can get an offer wrong.
Which page should I use?
A product page or your home page, as long as it has text on it. Pages that are mostly pictures, or that only load their words after scripts run, give us very little to work with.
Can I use them on TikTok and YouTube Shorts?
Yes. A hook is just the first line of a short video, so it works anywhere. They also work as the first line of an ad or a post caption.
Can you make the whole reel?
Yes. Press Make this reel under any hook. We'll make four short videos from the same page in about three minutes, with your photos, colours and words. Making and editing them is free.
Why didn't it work on my site?
Some sites block visitors that aren't a normal browser, and some only show their words after scripts run. Try a different page from the same site, like a product page.
