URL to Reel

Turn a website URL into a reel

URL to Reel makes short videos from a link. Paste the address of your website, a product page or a landing page, and you get four vertical reels made from what is on that page.

How it works

From link to video in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Paste your link

Use your home page, a product page or a landing page. We open it in a real browser and record it, top to bottom.

  2. Step 2

    Get four takes

In about three minutes you get four different reels made from that page, each with its own look, music and order of scenes. Each one is 1080×1920, ready for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

  3. Step 3

    Edit and download

Change any word, colour, font or scene. Editing is free. When a take is ready, export it in full HD and post it.

Why it works

What you get from one link

Your site, not stock clips

The reel shows your real pages scrolling on a phone, your photos, your headlines and your prices. People see the same thing when they tap through, so the video and the page match.

Four different takes

You do not get one video and a shrug. Each take opens on a different line, has its own scene order, music and pace, so you can post the one you like or test them against each other.

Every word can change

Fix a headline, swap the colours, pick other music or drop a scene. The editor is free, and you only pay when you download a take in full HD without the watermark.

What a URL to Reel tool should do

A lot of "URL to reel" tools only download a reel that is already on Instagram. This one does the opposite. It starts from your own web page and makes a new reel about it, so you have something to post instead of something to save.

When you paste a link, a real browser opens the page and records it from top to bottom. It notes your logo, your colours, the exact fonts, the headings and the lines worth quoting. If the page has products, it reads the names, photos and prices. If it has photos of your work, your food or your space, those go in too.

Then it plans the scenes. Every take opens with a hook from your page, shows the site itself, makes a point or two with your own words and ends on a clear call to action with your web address. Music and sound effects are timed to the cuts, and you can add a voice-over that reads a short script written from the page.

Nothing is made up. A language model helps pick which facts to feature, and every line it picks is checked against your page before it goes on screen. If a number is not on your site, it is not in your reel.

Want to see it with your own site? Try URL to Reel with your link. Making and editing is free.

Tips for a better reel

  • Paste the page you want people to land on, not always the home page. A product page makes a tighter reel.
  • Pages with a clear headline near the top give the strongest opening line.
  • If your page has good photos lower down, they will show up, so it is worth keeping them there.
  • Post the take you like best first, then try another one a few days later with the same caption.

What is URL to Reel?

URL to Reel, also written UrlToReel, is a tool that turns a web page into short promo videos. You paste a link, and about three minutes later you get four reels made from that page.

Can it download a reel from an Instagram link?

No. It does not download other people's videos. It makes new videos from your own website, which you can then post on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.

Which links work?

Any public page that loads without a login: shops, restaurants, studios, software sites, portfolios and event pages. Pages behind a login, a paywall or a captcha cannot be recorded.

How much does it cost?

Making and editing videos is free, and you do not need an account. You pay once for a pack of credits, 4 for $4 or 12 for $10. One credit downloads a video in full HD without the watermark, and a voice-over costs 2.

Your website already tells the story

Paste the link and we'll cut the reel.
